Our Mission
To provide members a venue to share their interest in the sport of walleye fishing, to support the preservation of our natural resources and to enhance the fisheries of the upper Mississippi River system. We strive to cooperate and work with the DNR in appropriate fisheries management. Also helping kids get interested in and have a good fishing experience is part of the mission of the club.
We strive to provide the opportunity for the membership to become better acquainted with walleye fishing techniques. We hope to share our passion for fishing with our fellow club members, and share it with others that do not have a parent to take them fishing.
The Mississippi Walleye Club has been in existence since 1983. Our members come from all walks of life through out the Iowa - Wisconsin - Illinois area.
Our members share the common interest in the sport of catching walleye. Our members range from those who fish once or twice per year, to those who fish the national tournaments such as the Professional Walleye Trail, Masters Walleye Circuit and the Iowa Walleye Tournament Trail.
